What do we say?
Human activities that cause climate change
Climate change
Refers to the long-term shifts in temperature partners and weather conditions on earth. It refers to significant changes in earth’s climate system, including changes in average temperatures, precipitation partners, sea levels etc
OUR APPROACH
Nirick Development Initiative Limited has a multi-dimensional approach to climate change effects in eastern Uganda. The project will ensure effective sensitization and training.
HOW DO WE CAUSE CLIMATE CHANGE?
Climate change is primarily caused by human activities specifically the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas which release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
These greenhouse gases trap heat, leading to an increase in global temperatures and various environmental consequences such as rising sea levels, melting glaciers, extreme weather events, and shifts in ecosystems.
